Side Stone Rings
Shop side-stone moissanite and gemstone rings designed to frame the center stone, add width across the finger, and create a complete engagement-ring composition. Side stones can reinforce the center shape through matching geometry or introduce contrast through different cuts and colors.

The Jewel Eternal collection includes tapered baguettes, graduated emerald-cut accents, marquise side stones, sapphire or ruby details, channel-set bands, and halo designs with colored accents. Compare side-stone shape, relative size, angle, metal, setting height, and wedding-band fit.
Choose a Side-Stone Ring by Design
Princess Cut with Tapered Baguettes
A crisp square center with step-cut side stones creates a controlled geometric transition into the shank. Tapered baguettes add width without surrounding the center with a halo.
Emerald Cut with Baguette Side Stones
Linear step-cut accents support the center’s architectural faceting and guide the eye into the band. Baguettes are a natural match because both shapes use long straight lines and broad reflections.
Marquise with Graduated Emerald-Cut Side Stones
An elongated brilliant center with structured step-cut accents creates stronger horizontal coverage while keeping the marquise visually dominant.
Old European-Style Center with Marquise Accents
An antique-inspired center paired with pointed marquise side stones creates romantic movement and heirloom influence without a full halo.
Round Center with Sapphire or Ruby Side Stones
Colored side stones add contrast and can reference a birthstone, anniversary, family connection, or preferred palette.
Channel-Set Side Stones
Smaller stones within metal rails provide a more enclosed and linear side-stone effect than pavé or two large accent stones.
Choosing Side-Stone Proportions
Side stones should support the center rather than compete with it. Larger accents create more total width and a stronger three-stone identity. Smaller accents function more like a transition into the shank.
Angle also matters. Side stones can sit nearly level with the center or slope downward. The arrangement affects top view, profile, comfort, and wedding-band fit.
Step-Cut vs. Brilliant Side Stones
Baguettes and emerald-cut accents create broad controlled flashes and reinforce geometric centers. Marquise, pear, and round accents create more active brilliance and a softer transition.
Side Stones vs. Halo or Solitaire
Side stones extend the design horizontally while leaving much of the center outline visible. A halo surrounds the center more continuously. A solitaire gives the center maximum visual independence and generally requires less maintenance.
Metal Options
Selected designs may be available in 925 sterling silver, 925 sterling silver with 3 μm of 14K yellow-gold plating, solid 14K yellow, white, or rose gold, and Platinum 950.
For frequent long-term engagement wear, solid 14K gold or Platinum 950 generally provides the strongest Jewel Eternal foundation.
Wedding-Band Pairing
Side-stone settings can extend toward neighboring fingers and may not sit flush with every straight band. Low side baskets, halos, and wide galleries can create a gap. A curved, contour, chevron, open, or custom-fit band may create a closer relationship.
Care and Customization
Clean beneath the center and side stones where residue can collect. Remove the ring before heavy lifting, workouts, gardening, swimming, or activities that may place pressure on the side settings.
Center and side-stone shapes, sizes, colors, proportions, angles, metal, band width, setting height, and matching-band fit can be reviewed through a Custom Ring Inquiry.
