Can You Add an Anniversary Band to a Wedding Set?

An anniversary band can be added to many wedding sets, either beside the existing rings, on the opposite side of the engagement ring, or on another finger.

Check available space

Additional bands increase total width and can make the stack feel tighter. Finger size may need to be reassessed using the combined width.

Check structural contact

Exposed stones, prongs, and pavé edges should not grind against neighboring rings. A spacer band can sometimes create safer separation.

Balance the design

The anniversary band can match the wedding band, mirror it on the other side, or introduce a different texture or stone pattern.

Plan for independent wear

Consider whether each band looks intentional alone and whether the stack remains comfortable during swelling and daily movement.
